We at AmWest Control are thrilled to have played a key role in the Roberts Tunnel Upgrade alongside our partners at Sturgeon Electric Company, Inc., CED Denver, and Eaton. Delivering this complex project for Denver Water during the unprecedented challenges of COVID-19 was no easy feat, but through collaboration, creativity, and sheer determination, we achieved remarkable results. Our team is especially proud of the pictured panel, which stands as the largest ever built in AmWest's history. It serves as a testament to the dedication and expertise of our workforce and the powerful partnerships we've cultivated within the industry. Working alongside Sturgeon Electric was a true pleasure. Their professionalism and commitment to excellence perfectly complemented our own approach, ensuring a smooth and successful project execution. When unexpected challenges arise, we find solutions. Take our work on the Roberts Tunnel East Portal hydroelectric project for example. When supply chain delays threatened to add significant costs to our customer, our team worked with Denver Water and other project team members to find an alternative to meet the essential deadline. It required intense planning and execution, and our team members showed their dedication to the project and customer by working 12-16-hour days, seven days a week, for three weeks to ensure the plan succeeded.
