AMS is pleased to welcome our newest Lynette A. Turner Pathways to Consulting Fellow Twi McCallum. Twi will be joining our team from October 28th?to January 17th. Twi is an art administrator & advocate from Baltimore, MD. She is a former sound designer, with design credits for Broadway, several off-Broadway and regional theaters, as well as television, film, and audiobooks for companies like HBO, Marvel, STARZ, and Audible. After retiring from her sound design career, she relocated back to her hometown of Baltimore and worked as Community Engagement Manager at Baltimore Office of Promotion & the Arts, overseeing a vast portfolio of grantmaking programs and workforce development initiatives. AMS is pleased to announce that as of September 1, 2024, Jon Faris will transition into the role of Managing Director at AMS Planning & Research.?Michele Walter, who joined AMS in 2006 and has served as AMS’s Managing Director for more than a decade, will continue as a Director at AMS, helping to lead the company alongside Principal Steven A. Wolff and West Coast Director Bill Blake. Jon has been a Director with AMS since March 2023 and has been working with the firm’s clients since October 2021 on a range of projects from supporting feasibility studies to serving as owner’s counsel to strategic planning initiatives. So tremendously excited that the 'Lynette A. Turner Pathways to Consulting' Fellowship continues to attract such talented and interesting people to AMS Planning & Research and then into the field. Past Fellow Joey Reyes, M.S. has just joined the team at Culture House Media in their new Immersive entertainment unit which is led by the wonderful Mikhael Tara Garver. Welcome, James. And a continuing thank you to Lynette Turner, who inspired this program and whose commitment and traditions we continue.

He will soon graduate from Northwestern University with a M.S. in Leadership For Creative Enterprises. Through his studies at Northwestern University, he developed a passion for consulting, and worked with The League of Chicago Theatres and The Bridge Creative Collective. James has a true passion for working with BIPOC arts organizations on developing programming, increasing funding, and creating life changing community engagement.
