  • March is Women's History Month, so we're taking the time to highlight and celebrate some of the many women who work across Amramp in various roles. Today, we're introducing you to Leslie Morgan, who runs Amramp Dallas/Fort Worth. "I have been in the work force since I was 16 years old. I started with the typical jobs of lifeguarding, waitressing, and tutoring to get through high school and college. After that, I worked 34 years at IBM in engineering and sales, and now I've been affiliated with Amramp for 11 years. I have a mechanical engineering degree and more than 40 years of sales experience. As a woman in a technical or sales field, I was always underestimated and constantly had to prove myself. Instead of being resentful or having a "chip on your shoulder," I believe it's better to let your actions and success speak for itself. For me, I have always found the best way to success is follow through, consistency and tenacity, and having a solution that solves a problem or fills a critical need. At IBM, I solved business problems and filled business needs. Scott and I have managed the Amramp Dallas Fort Worth franchise for over 11 years and for Amramp, solving problems is very personal and rewarding, as we fill accessibility and safety needs for injured, elderly or disabled clients. In our blended family, we have 8 grown children, three of them being very strong women and three of the men married to three very strong women. Seven of the thirteen grandkids are girls that are being taught that every month is "Women's Month" and women can do and be anything." #WomensHistoryMonth #EmpowHER #WomensDay #Accessibility #InternationalWomensDay
