The Nikkei MJ Forum "Solar Power Transitioning to a New Phase" has wrapped up its five-city tour across Japan and featured presentations from key industry leaders on expanding #renewableenergy adoption. As costs fall and the need to store electricity soars, large-scale battery installations are booming across the US, signaling a shift towards a more sustainable and reliable energy grid. "Through July of this year, grids in the U.S. added five gigawatts of battery capacity, 10 times the amount added in 2020 when installations began to gain momentum", according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA).
