Last night’s Amplify meeting was one for the books! ?? We welcomed a record-breaking 250 attendees, including 90+ first-timers, who came together with big hearts and bright minds to support two incredible nonprofits, Legacy 2 Inspire and Black Butterfly. The energy in the room was undeniable—described by newcomers as 'electric, heartwarming, invigorating, enlightening, and life-giving.' And they were right! We're already hearing about transformative ideas and meaningful connections sparked during the event. Every moment reaffirmed what we believe: when generous hearts and bright minds collaborate, extraordinary things happen. ???? To everyone who participated: YOU are the magic behind Amplify. Our Learning Academy was in full swing again this week, bringing together 34 incredible nonprofit leaders! We were thrilled to have Amplify partner T.J. Tison lead a powerful session on time management, aptly titled "Drinking From a Fire Hose." One of our guests in attendance shared this after the session: “You have a phenomenal thing going with Amplify! I was so impressed with the Christ-centered leaders in the group, and TJ’s presentation was wonderful! Anyone going through the Amplify program is bound to gain SO MUCH for themselves and their organization. I feel so blessed that you allowed me to come today! Not only did I learn a lot for myself and my business about mastering self-management, but being in that space and talking amongst the nonprofit leaders filled my soul!" What's your legacy? For Andy Voge, founder of Legacy 2 Inspire, that question become deeply personal in 2019 when he was diagnosed with stage four appendix cancer. After surgery removed 90% of the tumor, Andy faced another devastating setback a year later when his stomach stopped working and doctors gave him just six months to live. It was in that moment of uncertainty and faith the vision for Legacy 2 Inspire was born. Today, that vision has become a 29' mobile wood and metal workshop that travels to area alternative schools, bringing hope and mentors to young people. As Andy shared during our first coaching session, "We're really just loving kids. I'm using my legacy to inspire the next generation and they will continue to do the same thing. We all have a legacy to give." The story of Legacy 2 Inspire will cut straight to your heart. The organization entered its first full school year this fall and the response from schools and students has been overwhelmingly positive. In fact, the demand has outgrown their capacity, and they are turning to YOU - our Amplify community - for ideas and connections to help scale and serve more youth.
