Our partner Southfield Classics' game-changing, government-certified replica chassis is featured on this month's cover of Automotive Industries magazine! Southfield is the first company to certify a replica chassis under the Low Volume Vehicle Manufacturer Act that was passed in 2015, allowing them, and builders who use their chassis to underpin their restorations, to certify their classic and hot rods as new vehicles. This chassis is used for Southfields' #SC31T Chevy 3100 pickup builds, and they are in the process of expanding their chassis selection to accommodate more classic vehicle bodies. Southfield uses our Atom Drive EV powertrain for propulsion and integration of modern features, The team from Southfield and our engineers worked with SEMA Garage, whose insight and assistance was instrumental in helping Southfield achieve NHTSA-, EPA and CARB-certification for its replica car chassis.
