Last week AMPATH Health Financing was in Bunyala to enhance Electronic Community Health Information System (eCHIS) functionality through community health promoter mentorship on utilization of equipment in the kits provided by the Ministry of Health. This activity is meant to enhance eCHIS household registration and service delivery in support of the Bunyala Primary Health Care Network functionality. Bubango Community Health Unit is being mentored by AMPATH Health Financing to ensure enhanced assessment of children under 5, pregnant women and early detection of diabetes and hypertension. The event was attended by AMPATH Population Health Lead Dr. Jeremiah Laktabai who also had policy related conversations with the Busia County Deputy Governor and County Executive Committee Health Services H.E Arthur Papa Odera concerning Project ECHO and Quality Improvement programs.
