AmPac Doubles Down on Its Commitment to Small Businesses Staying Strong While SBA Restructures for Greater Efficiency You may have seen the recent headlines: the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has announced an agency-wide reorganization aimed at eliminating wasteful spending and returning to its founding mission — empowering small businesses. While the federal agency becomes leaner and more efficient, one thing remains unchanged:AmPac Business Capital is all in for small business success. As a proud SBA partner and mission-driven nonprofit lender, AmPac is not stepping back — we’re stepping up. In fact, we’re doubling down on our commitment to serve entrepreneurs from cradle to legacy, no matter how the landscape shifts in Washington. Here’s How AmPac is Leaning In: More Capital, More Access: As a trusted SBA 504 lender for owner-occupied commercial real estate, a 7(a) Community Advantage lender, and a microloan provider, AmPac continues to deliver flexible funding solutions to help businesses grow, invest, and stabilize. Education on Tap: AmPac is actively partnering with banks and lenders to host training sessions on streamlined lending solutions for today’s small business environment. We’re preparing our partners so that together, we don’t miss a beat. Boots on the Ground: Our business development team is out in the community — knocking on doors, attending events, and making sure small businesses know: we’re open, we’re ready, and we’re here for you. Tools for Turbulent Times: Through AmPac’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, we’re launching webinars to help businesses navigate economic shifts — from new tariffs to post-disaster recovery in Los Angeles and beyond. Innovating Ownership: Our Commercial Down Payment Assistance Program is breaking down barriers for first-time business property owners — especially for women-, Black-, Latino-, and veteran-owned businesses ready tostop leasing and start owning. Serving the Tri-State Region: WithAmPac Tri-State C.A.N., we’re now actively serving businesses in California, Arizona, and Nevada — bringing capital, coaching, and confidence across the Southwest. SBA Is Refocusing — and So Are We SBA Administrator Kelly Loeffler emphasized a renewed focus on capital access, field support, veteran-owned businesses, and efficiency. At AmPac, we know that efficiency and innovation are our strengths. In partnership with the SBA, we will continue to deliver impactful results — with heart, hustle, and a mission to uplift communities and strengthen families through entrepreneurship. Small business is big business — and we’re not slowing down.

‘Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you’ (Isaiah 43.1b-2). Trustworthiness is paramount in the world of work. We all want to do business with people who do what they say they are going to do. Especially in environments in which obligations are regarded as ‘fluid’, trust is hard to win but easily lost. The passage cited above reminds us that the gold standard in trustworthiness is God. It tells us something very important as we face the prospect of navigating uncharted territory, like that presented to us at the start of a new year. It tells us that God may not remove rising waters and raging fires from our path but that God knows and cares when they threaten to overwhelm and destroy us, physically, spiritually, or even financially. Are business growth and your faith opposed? Christian leaders often find themselves at a crossroads, seeking to balance ambition with their faith-based values. The desire to scale operations and achieve greater impact can sometimes feel at odds with the principles of service, integrity, and stewardship that underpin their beliefs. Before embarking on a journey of scaling, it is essential to align your business with God's purpose for its existence. God created each individual with unique talents and callings. Businesses are just collections of those people aligned on a common goal. The beautiful thing is that the more defined that purpose is, the better the talent and processes will be that surround it. Proverbs 16:3 tells us, "Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans." This verse underscores the importance of seeking God's guidance in every aspect of our lives, including our businesses. To align your business with God's purpose, start by asking yourself: Who do I want to serve? What problem does my business solve? What values do I want to uphold in my business operations?
