Amond World

Amond World is a development State-of-the-Art 2 million sq ft Premium Refrigerated Cold Storage Center in Central Valley, CA to support the FDA’s Food Safety Modernization Act to improve food safety of agricultural products. With an initial focus on almonds, it will provide growers and processors a safe and dry storage area, extend the shelf life to 2-years and eliminate the costs of fumigation of the almond crop prior to storage. With the US almond market in Central Valley producing 80% of the world’s production, Amond World is positioned to capitalize on this unique opportunity. Using next generation #blockchain and data technology for the storage and global trade in the Almond sector. A report released Tuesday by the Almond Board of California says the industry contributes about $11 billion a year to the California state’s gross domestic product. The figure includes production of the crop itself and the processing and marketing of the nuts. The study, by the Agricultural Issues Center at UC Davis, says almond-related activities generate 104,000 jobs statewide.
