UX is facing a BIG challenge: how do we give people personalized experiences while respecting their privacy? People want things tailored to them, like content that fits their interests and easy-to-use interfaces. This often means collecting data. But we can't do this at the cost of trust. We need to be open about how we use data and give people control over it. Finding this balance - giving people what they want while keeping their data safe - is what will make brands successful. We focus on making experiences easy to use and accessible to everyone. Adding helpful tools like info icons, pop-up messages, and step-by-step guides are all simple tactics that help achieve this. It’s important to make sure our designs work for everyone by: ? Striking a balance between strong branding and ADA-compliant accessibility. Our designs should both look good and be inclusive. ??Incorporating diverse thinking into our strategies. This means prioritizing various backgrounds and perspectives in both the users we design for and the designers creating the experiences. Using AI in our research phase is another way we’ve incorporated diversity of thought to inform our designs. Partnering with companies like ResearchGOAT, which uses generative AI to capture in-depth qualitative research, has been a game changer in gathering insights from more people, more quickly.
