    We are excited to congratulate?Ammobia?-?Karen Baert,?Tristan Gilbert?and the entire Ammobia team for being selected to participate in the field trial and final phase of the Chevron Studio program. Ammobia, a San Francisco-based climate-tech startup is?launching out of the Chevron Studio and was founded by aspiring entrepreneurs, Baert and Gilbert. ? With a mission to feed and fuel our world with lower-carbon ammonia, Ammobia is developing a technology to produce?lower-carbon?ammonia at low cost.?Ammobia's Haber-Bosch 2.0 is an innovation to the conventional ammonia synthesis process, the Haber-Bosch process. Through an innovative reaction technology, Ammobia seeks to enable ammonia production?at lower pressure than the current Haber-Bosch process with aim to achieve significantly higher conversion than the current process. ? This approach?simplifies the plant design,?potentially?reducing CAPEX and OPEX, and?is designed to increase?the flexibility and safety in ammonia production, paving the way for cost-effective, modular ammonia production.? ? Ammobia was selected for the third phase of Chevron Studio based on successful completion of Phase 2 of Chevron Studio and plans to commercialize the technology through a field trial with industry end users. Ammobia will work to scale its technology and aim to secure MOUs or LOIs with potential customers during the field trial phase. Chevron Studio, a partnership between Chevron Technology Ventures and?the?National Renewable Energy Laboratory, is a unique program pairing individual entrepreneurs with technologies from universities and national labs that have the potential to enable a lower-carbon future.?Follow this space for additional announcements.?
