On January 20, a spectacular sight unfolded at Benete Port, West Sumbawa, as the massive LNG tanker MT Lady Eva docked—making it the largest vessel ever to anchor in Benete waters. Measuring the equivalent of over 1,300 cars, this ship plays a crucial role in supplying cleaner energy for AMMAN's operations. This moment marks a historic milestone with the successful Trial Berthing of MT Lady Eva. The tanker supports AMMAN’s LNG facilities by transporting LNG from Bontang LNG Terminal in East Kalimantan to Batu Hijau, where it will serve as an energy source for a 450-megawatt gas and steam power plant (PLTGU). Khaidar, a young man from Taliwang, Sumbawa Barat, is living proof that with passion and hard work, dreams can become reality. As a recipient of the AMMAN Scholars Program SMK Unggulan Batch II (2022) at SMK Raden Umar Said (RUS) Kudus, Central Java, Khaidar achieved something extraordinary: contributing as a background artist to the animated film Nyla. The film premiered at the 19th JAFF Jogja Film Festival in December 2024, showcasing his talent for creating captivating visual worlds that brought the story to life. Khaidar wasn’t alone in this journey. Fellow AMMAN Scholars Miftahul Zahra and Muhammad Febrilian Pratama also played pivotal roles in this remarkable project.
