Our Mission:??? We believe that all humans have the right to self-worth and dignity and a sense of agency. We believe in empowering young women, who have been affected by the commercial sex trade, to heal, grow, and become self-sustaining in a comprehensive and holistic manner. What we do:?? AL empowers survivors of commercial sex exploitation (CSE) through our Empowerment Program, which is located at our 10,000 Lights Women's Centre in Kampala, Uganda. This holistic program focuses wellness, education and life skills which provides a pathway for survivors to create agency and transform their lives.
