Progress is taking shape in Parma! We’re erecting trusses and sheathing the roof for The City of Parma, OH's new Ridgewood Golf Course clubhouse and event center, and prepping for interior MEP work to begin in the next few weeks. Inside, layout and framing are underway. This exciting project will feature a flexible event space with a warming kitchen, bar, and pre-function space on one side. The other side will house a grill, lounge, pro shop, and six golf simulators. Outside, guests will enjoy a covered patio and event pavilion. Our next employee spotlight is Dominic Rizzo, one of our Laborer Foremen at Higley Construction. Having been at Higley for over 13 years, we are so lucky to have him as a part of our workforce. As Higley entered the 1930s, the Great Depression loomed over the entire decade. We continued completing work in various cities, including Chicago, Buffalo, and Indianapolis. Government and public projects were a majority of our work in this era - with historical projects such as the Curtiss Wright Airport, the Indiana War Memorial, and several projects for the Great Lakes Exposition.
