??AM Summit 2024 Focuses on Sustainable 3D Printing ?? Our Executive Director, Sherri Monroe, met with Sarah Saunders, Senior Writer, and Editor for 3DPrint.com, during the 2024 AM Summit in Copenhagen, for a recently published feature article. ??Read the full article here: https://lnkd.in/edMSvgxz ??The AM Summit focused on #sustainability and “leading the change in how we design, develop, and produce so we can reduce, reuse, and recycle.” The event included stakeholders within the rapidly developing AM technology community and those adopting and leveraging AM technologies for better outcomes. In their discussion, Sherri emphasized how the conversation surrounding sustainability in additive manufacturing (AM) has evolved in recent years. The focus is shifting from just reducing material waste to understanding the whole process and how it impacts the bottom line. ??As Sherri put it, “We need to be looking at the bigger picture—the strategic environmental and economic business application of #additivemanufacturing. We need to manage our inventories better, reduce overproduction, and explore all the business advantages.
