For today's spotlight, we're excited to highlight the ABE Exploring Tools of the Biotechnology Lab: Pipetting module. ?? #Biotechnology has evolved rapidly with the introduction of innovative tools and techniques. Tasks that once took months can now be done in minutes, thanks in part to tools like the micropipette. While these skills are typically taught in labs, this ABE lower-secondary module brings them into the classroom. Students get hands-on experience with micropipettes and learn how to accurately measure very small volumes—just like real scientists. ??Note: The Teacher Guide is password-protected. March is a busy month for us! Three ABE sites—Puerto Rico (already underway), The Netherlands, and Ireland—are hosting professional development institutes (PDIs) in March. These sessions are designed to support both new and experienced ABE #teachers in building skills, deepening content knowledge, and staying up to date with current #bioscience standards, ABE labs, and curricula.
