It was great to see my writeup entitled “Sinter-based Additive Manufacturing technologies in focus at ASTM International’s ICAM 2024 Conference” published in the PIM International’s Spring 2025 Issue.?The article covers some of the interesting presentations from the “Sinter-based AM” track that was co-organized by Animesh Bose (AMfgLabs LLC), Amy Elliot (Oak Ridge National Lab, USA), Paul Prichard (Oak Ridge National Lab, USA), Efraín Carre?o-Morelli (University of Applied Science and Arts, Western Switzerland), Simon Hoges (GKN Additive, Germany), Benoit Verquin (CETIM-French Technical Center for Mechanical Industries, France). ?This writeup highlights the significance of ?“Sinter-based AM” which has currently gained traction within ASTM International’s ICAM Conference Series.?Though it was impossible to cover all of the presentations, the article does cover a number of them and would urge people interested in this growing area, plan on attending the next ICAM Conference that will be held October 6-10, 2025, at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, NV, USA.?I would personally like to thank all the presenters for their presentations.
