Traditional knee osteoarthritis (KOA) treatment modalities can be invasive, financially burdensome, and have a significant impact on diagnostic claims, outpatient services, non-operative treatments and pain medication use.?? ? APG member, High Desert Medical Group (HDMG), partnered with AposHealth to offer a personalized, noninvasive medical shoe device to treat KOA that provides a high quality, convenient, and cost-effective alternative to total knee replacement.?? ? The medical shoe device intervention for patients with KOA demonstrated decreases in diagnostic claims, outpatient services, non-operative treatments, opioid pain medication use, and intra-articular injections.?? ? By working collaboratively with pediatric care partners to improve engagement and patient outcomes, CHILDREN'S PHYSICIANS MEDICAL GROUP (CPMG) created the Pediatric Care Mental Health Integration (PCMHI) model which provides early identification, intervention, and recovery for their pediatric population with mental health needs. After completing nearly 40,000 mental health visits, preliminary data show the program reduced depressive symptoms by 62% and anxiety symptoms by 44%.? ?
