With her Altadena rental home coated in toxic ash, Vivana moved to the shelter with her husband and 3-year-old daughter immediately after the #LAWildfires. Still living at the Pasadena Convention Center shelter when she received cash assistance from Americares, Viviana planned to buy food for her daughter, who wouldn’t eat the food at the shelter. Thanks to your support, we are able to ensure access to health services for survivors in need. We've successfully delivered 820 emergency go-bags to our partners at Los Angeles Dream Center for #LAWildfires survivors after this weekends #GBKBrandBar Oscars event. Each bag contains critical essentials including pill containers, N95 masks, toothbrush and toothpaste, as well as waterproof folders with comprehensive mental health resources and tips on expanding your own go-bag. We extend our sincere appreciation to all volunteers who contributed this weekend! Packing these bags along side us directly enabled this impact. ?? What an absolutely heartwarming weekend at the #GBKBrandBar Oscars Gifting Lounge! Amidst the glitz and glamour, we rolled up our sleeves for something truly special—putting together over 800 go bags for those affected by the #LAWildfires. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU to Neil Patrick Harris, Whoopi Goldberg, Trey Jemison, Christopher McDonald, Anjali Bhimani, Kordell Beckham, Jackie Tohn, Danell Leyva, Jewelianna Ramos and all the wonderful volunteers and supporters who stopped by to help out!
