Union workers are shifting. In 2024, Trump won 45% of union households, cutting Democrats’ 20-point lead to eight. Why? Policies like the PRO Act empower union bosses while undermining worker freedom, privacy, and economic opportunity. Meanwhile, public-sector unions like the NEA spent over 50% of their revenue pushing partisan politics. The message is clear: Workers want freedom, not exploitation. Extending the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act and protecting right-to-work laws must be top priorities.

Americans for Tax Reform Opposes All Tax Increases As A Matter of Principle.
关于我们
Americans for Tax Reform (ATR) opposes all tax increases as a matter of principle. We believe in a system in which taxes are simpler, flatter, more visible, and lower than they are today. The government's power to control one's life derives from its power to tax. We believe that power should be minimized. ATR was founded in 1985 by Grover Norquist at the request of President Reagan. The flagship project of Americans for Tax Reform is the Taxpayer Protection Pledge, a written promise by elected officials and candidates for office that commits them to oppose any effort to increase taxes on individuals and businesses. Nearly 1,400 elected officials, from state representative to governor to US Senator, have signed the Pledge. Americans for Tax Reform works with state-based center-right groups to help replicate ATR’s national Wednesday Meeting in the states. Currently, there are over 60 meetings in 48 states. These meetings bring together a broad cross-section of the center-right community: taxpayer groups, social conservative groups, business groups, legislators, etc., to promote limited government ideals.

California’s record-high gas prices underscore the long-term effects of flawed energy policy. Governor Gavin Newsom’s new law, ABX 1-2, forces oil refineries to maintain minimum supply levels, ostensibly to combat “price gouging.” Yet, within days of its passage, several refineries shut down, reducing California’s gas capacity by 8%. The root issue isn’t corporate greed but years of restrictive policies, including the state’s highest-in-the-nation gas taxes, “special blend” fuel requirements, and a regulatory environment that has driven energy producers out of California. These policies have created a fragile energy market reliant on just seven major refineries, leaving consumers vulnerable to price shocks.

A recent study in the Journal of Financial Economics found that corporate tax increases can lead to a decrease in patenting, R&D, and new product introductions. With Kamala Harris proposing a 33% increase in the federal corporate tax rate, this could have major implications for American innovation.

The proposed sales tax hike, introduced by Waukesha County officials just a few weeks ago, was suddenly pulled from the agenda as the County Board meeting approached. This decision is a relief for taxpayers and a testament to the hard-fought tax relief achieved by state lawmakers in recent years. #wisconsin

Democrats in California have shown a complete disregard for the U.S. Constitution with their recent actions. The Firearms Policy Coalition has filed a lawsuit against California's SB2, which restricts the ability of law-abiding citizens to carry licensed firearms. These restrictions are not based on public safety concerns, but rather on limiting individual rights. Even Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris, who claims to support the Second Amendment, has a history of restricting gun ownership. Democrats are more concerned with taxing and limiting our rights than protecting them. #california

The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, signed into law by President Donald Trump in 2017, provided much-needed income tax relief for households and businesses of all sizes. As reported by multiple sources, including the Associated Press and Axios, these tax cuts have positively impacted businesses like McDonald's, allowing them to expand their employee benefits. However, Kamala Harris has repeatedly vowed to repeal the TCJA and raise the federal corporate income tax rate, potentially harming small business owners.
