In the $200,000 Beyond the Meter: Energy Storage Integration Prize, up to two winners will win a cash prize and have the opportunity to showcase their winning submission among other grid industry leaders at DISTRIBUTECH International 2025 with the hope of finding partners to integrate their behind-the-meter grid-edge technology. Congratulations to the HBCU Clean Energy Education Prize Partnerships Track Phase 2 winners! The Partnerships Track aims to equip #HBCU students with the skills and opportunities needed to succeed in #CleanEnergy careers by challenging HBCUs to develop advanced clean energy programming. Each team was awarded $400K for their work partnering with organizations to develop innovative academic and professional programs for HBCU students??

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has announced the 35 teams that have qualified to participate in the 2025 Collegiate Wind Competition! During the first half of the 2024–2025 school year, these teams will begin developing preliminary designs for a model floating #OffshoreWind turbine and a hypothetical #wind farm site, conduct outreach, network with the industry, and compete for a spot in the final event, where they will present their work to expert judges and test their models in a wind tunnel. Participating in the competition will help prepare these students to join the growing #WindEnergy #workforce and the fight against #ClimateChange. https://bit.ly/3zo3Bm7
