In recognition of National Volunteer Week, we hosted events at each of our locations for our associates to learn about volunteer opportunities in our communities. ???? Thank you to Spartanburg Humane Society, Hope Center for Children, Habitat for Humanity of Spartanburg, United Way of Treasure Valley and United Way of Greater Atlanta for coming to visit us to share about the incredible work you do to make our communities better places to live and work. Also thank you to our amazing associates who not only spent time learning about these opportunities but also got into the community to volunteer their time. At ACA, associates have the opportunity to give 4 hours of paid time volunteering with any 501(c)3 organization of their choice. This week was Associate Appreciation Week and leaders across American Credit Acceptance delivered encourageMINTS, served lunches, wrote thank you cards, passed out snacks and more to show appreciation for the contributions of our associates! ACA associates also gave more than 1,800 badges with words of encouragement and appreciation to one another. I’m so grateful and proud to work alongside so many wonderful people. Our internship experience here at The Johnson Group is designed to help students discover their best fit and feel empowered to make the greatest impact. Lainey Galicia, USC Upstate graduate who interned for OTO Development and has since been hired as a full-time Accountant, shares just how meaningful this summer was for her: "When completing tasks, I learned to trust myself using my training and schooling, but having the safety net of my team has given me the confidence to really lean into my own expertise.
