Our Guanajuato Manufacturing Complex (GMC) in Mexico recently hosted its second AAM Talk—similar in style to the popular TED Talks—to raise awareness about social inclusion, particularly for people with disabilities. Carlos Daigoro, Social Inclusion Director at INGUDIS, spoke on the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities, with nearly 300 Associates tuning in online and in-person. GMC also donated $1,314 USD to support INGUDIS' work.

Associates from our Irapuato Manufacturing Facility (IMMF) in Mexico supported their local community by donating plastic caps to Banco de Tapitas AC, a nonprofit that recycles caps to fund cancer treatments for children and young adults. #TeamAAM at IMMF contributed a total of 228 pounds of plastic caps, which will help support the care of patients ages 0 to 21 years old.

#TeamAAM at our Silao Manufacturing Facility (SMF) in Mexico recently supported the ángeles Perrunos dog shelter after a devastating fire. Associates raised approximately $500 USD and collected 401 kg (884 pounds) of dog food through emergency collections and fundraising sales, highlighting AAM’s commitment to giving back to the community

#TeamAAM at our Halifax Manufacturing Facility (HEMF) in the United Kingdom recently organized a food drive for The Gathering Place, a local nonprofit supporting people in crisis. The drive collected various donations, including groceries, baby products and hygiene items, thanks to the efforts of HEMF’s dedicated Associates.

Recently, #TeamAAM from our Three Rivers Manufacturing Facility (TRMF) in Michigan held a Family Fun Day for their Associates and families. The event included games, free food, a dunk tank featuring TRMF’s Associates and facility tours via two carnival trains.
