AAM is dedicated to giving back to our communities where we work and live. #TeamAAM from our facilities in Mexico recently donated 50 backpacks and additional school supplies to four local schools. Ten Associates from the Purchasing, General Stores, and Human Resources departments volunteered a combined total of 20 hours to deliver and distribute the items.

AAM’s Detroit-based Black Associate Network recently attended the 2024 Detroit Area Pre-College Engineering Program (DAPCEP) Real McCoy Awards, where Eric Andrews, Senior Product Engineer – Shafts, and Ellisa Rhodes, Senior Application Engineer, met and congratulated this year’s junior Real McCoy award winners, aiding in the DAPCEP mission to ensure students of color become leaders in a diverse workforce.

#TeamAAM from our Detroit Campus recently volunteered at Peace Tree Parks on a project to support their local community. #TeamAAM assisted with installing split rail fencing, setting up watering pots to enhance soil moisture and preparing the site for a future food distribution center that will serve those in need in the area.
