We're incredibly grateful for the strong partnership of faith allies like Interfaith Alliance. The only way to protect our public schools, stand up for our LGBTQ loved ones, and resist the threat of White Christian Nationalism is for people of conscience of all faiths, and none, to stand together.
Proud that our own Darcy Hirsh contributed to American Atheists' 2024 State of the Secular States report outlining the troubling trend toward religious extremism in state legislatures. You can read Darcy's contribution on pages 11-12 talking about the recent Texas state bill to allow chaplains to serve as counselors in public schools, and the coalition working to push back against it.
