Double High Fives in Philly! ? Nearly doubling last year's impact, the Philadelphia Talent Pipeline Program (TPP) celebrated helping more than 650 individuals find careers in the Defense Industrial Base (DIB). During Thursday’s Signing Day event, The Philly program thanked the 72 employers who?continue to make it a success.? ? The Philadelphia TPP recently marked its third Signing Day event, highlighting the ongoing efforts of the U.S. Navy Submarine Industrial Base (SIB) Program to build a robust Defense Industrial Base workforce. This initiative is developing a new wave of skilled workers, including pipefitters, welders, and electricians, in collaboration with industry, academic, and local government partners. These professionals are crucial for constructing and maintaining our nation's submarine fleet. Signing Days celebrate the achievements of trade skills students who have completed their training and are starting their careers with small and medium-sized defense industrial base suppliers involved in the talent pipeline programs. ? The Philadelphia TPP's Signing Day event showcases the importance of collaboration between education, industry, and government in creating a sustainable talent pipeline that strengthens our nation's defense capabilities. ?
