This week’s #ASBemployeespotlight is Kali Unke! ? Title: Cash Payment Coordinator Location: Benson, MN 2 years with ASB What is your favorite part of your job? My favorite part of my job is the diversity of it. It’s always something different and I enjoy the diverse tasks and challenges that come with each day as well as the satisfaction I get when completing them. I also enjoy communicating with my sales reps and building relationships with them as well. There are some pretty great people within American! What are your favorite hobbies/family activities? Some of my favorite hobbies are to cozy up to a good book or spending an hour or two drawing/sketching whatever comes to mind. I also enjoy making cakes that I started on my daughter’s first birthday. Over the years I have done a few for family and friends as well. My daughter Alayna and I love adventures! We love to just hit the road and go, fly by the seat of our pants kind of thing. Between searching for seashells at the beach, catching bugs in the park, throwing out a line or two in hopes we catch something, anything to keep us busy and having fun! How do you want to grow in the next 3-5 years (work and/or personal)? I would like to continue developing my skills and knowledge within American to help me grow professionally and personally in my career.

ASB Hosts 2024 Virtual Award Ceremony ???? American Solutions for Business recently hosted its fourth annual virtual award ceremony, honoring the exceptional contributions of sales associates, vendor partners, and home office team members. Complementing the virtual ceremony, team members from Glenwood gathered for an in-person watch party, while others across the country joined the virtual social hour. Both events brought together team members and vendor partners to connect and celebrate the company’s achievements over the past year.?? Congratulations to all of the award winners!????

This week’s #ASBemployeespotlight is Mark Williams! Title: Expanded Services Account Manager Location: Goodlettsville, TN 1 year with ASB What is your favorite part of your job? I truly enjoy the learning process in my job. I’m constantly gaining insights from Fant Smith's selling techniques, and Jennifer Turner’s expertise organizing and processing jobs is invaluable. Our customers provide continuous feedback on the importance and impact of their projects. Additionally, my supervisor, Laurie Fallert, is always quick to respond and guide me through the challenges I encounter. What are your favorite hobbies/family activities? I love reading and listening to books. Church plays a significant role in my life. I’m also teaching myself to play the piano. My wife, Julie, and I enjoy visiting museums together. Spending time with my daughter, her family, or my siblings always brings a smile to my face. How do you want to grow in the next 3-5 years (work and/or personal)? Professionally, I see the customer not just as the person paying for the job, but as the next person who will handle it. My goal is to set up that individual for success, whether they are the client, a vendor, or another ASB employee. Personally, I aspire to grow in my faith and to deepen my love for my wife and family.

This week’s #ASBemployeespotlight is Brooke Wellar! Title: Vertical Markets Program Specialist Location: Auburn, AL 1 year with ASB What is your favorite part of your job? There are so many things I love about this role! Everyone I’ve interacted with at ASB is so friendly and supportive of each other. I really like that I get to do a variety of different things, and that each day is a little different. I also like that I get the opportunity to come up with fresh ideas and the encouragement I receive to explore and implement them. I had the opportunity to work the ICBA show last spring and really enjoyed it, so I look forward to doing more of that in the future. What are your favorite hobbies/family activities? My Husband, Ryan, and I have been married for 16 years—we actually got set up on a blind date. We have a 12-year-old daughter, Morgan, and a 4-year-old Shichon, Max. We moved to Auburn, AL from State College, PA almost a year ago and are enjoying exploring our new town. We are loving the warmer weather! Our daughter keeps us pretty busy; she is involved in dance and drama club, so I spend a lot of time in my car. I am an avid reader and love to get time in the evenings to relax with a good book. I also like to do craft projects including making jewelry, crochet, or DIY items for parties/holidays. Our favorite family vacation is Disney World, so now that we live fairly close to Orlando we have been enjoying taking weekend trips. How do you want to grow in the next 3-5 years (work and/or personal)? Professionally, over the next 3-5 I want to continue to learn more about American and how I can help support our Sales Reps. I feel like there is always something new to learn and new information we can share about the vertical markets. Personally, it’s not a big goal but something I have always wanted to learn is to knit.
