It's Meet the Team Monday! Cam Mackey is super excited about seeing the finalists' faces when they launch their rockets at National Finalist this year! She is Senior Coordinator of the American Rocketry Challenge & Program Outreach and is responsible for facilitating team registration and engagement, delivering year-round programmatic content, and executing event planning for the National Finals event. Cam's background is in accounting, but we're lucky she fell in love with ARC and joined the team last year. ? Favorite Rocketry?Fun fact: A typical rocket engine generates a tremendous amount of thrust, equivalent to the power of 13 hoover dams, allowing it to carry heavy payloads at high speeds. ? Favorite Aerial Vehicle: Cessna 206 Seaplane

The American Rocketry Challenge and all our students, mentors, and parents are so thankful for your dedication to the program and this work! ??
As we head into the weekend and spend time within our community with friends, and family discussing the week's victories, I look forward to sharing with mine the work put in this week to plan and organize our investment in the American Rocketry Challenge as a sponsor. I am excited about the opportunity to share our professional relevance and passion for this industry with students in the months ahead and in person in May! Sitting doing homework with my kids this week I cherish being able to share real world applications on why science, math, and technology really are the keys alongside hard work to a vibrant life. Let's go!
