Our team recently participated in the Coalition for the Delaware River Watershed (CDRW) Hill Day, dedicating the day to engaging with members of Congress about policies aimed at safeguarding our environment and communities. Rivers do not recognize political boundaries, and climate change impacts everyone. That’s why we believe it’s crucial to communicate with decision-makers across both political parties to drive meaningful action.

While we still have a lot of work to do, we celebrate cleanup progress on many rivers nationwide. Here are three examples of rivers – that are sources of drinking water – that have been cleaned up with the help of the EPA: https://lnkd.in/eJWa4_D5

The Clean Water Act (CWA) has safeguarded our water since 1972, reducing pollution and protecting vital resources. But with the current push for deregulation, those protections could be at risk. Five ways the CWA protects your clean water: 1?? It sets water quality standards 2?? It regulates direct discharges into waterways 3?? It funds wastewater treatment facilities 4??
