Meet Mark Burch, Production Supervisor, and Site Manager for American Rheinmetall Munitions’ (ARM) Windham, ME production facility. Mark has been with the company for four years, starting as a Manufacturing Engineering Technician where he excelled for three years before being promoted to his current role. ARM has supported Mark’s professional and personal growth through continued learning and adaptation within the organization, access to training programs, and emphasis on a healthy work-life balance.
In his role, some of Mark’s key responsibilities include project management, team leadership, and strategic planning. These focus areas are critically important to ARM’s success because they ensure that projects are completed efficiently and effectively, which helps the company maintain its reputation for reliability and product excellence. Mark’s leadership fosters a positive and productive work environment, which is crucial for retaining top talent and achieving high performance. ARM is also able to stay ahead of industry trends through its strategic planning process, positioning the company for long-term success and sustainability.
Mark served in the Navy as an Aviation Boatswain’s Mate and in that role, he was responsible for launching and recovering naval aircraft quickly and safely from the flight deck of the USS John F. Kennedy (CV-67). His prior service makes him feel proud about the work he does at ARM, knowing he’s able to continue serving his country by supporting the great men and women of our armed forces with the necessary resources they need to perform their duties effectively. Mark feels fulfilled in his role knowing that his efforts contribute to the well-being and success of those who lay their lives on the line to serve others.
