The report tiers states into three performance categories. The evaluation shows that: ·??????21 states and the District of Columbia are in the high tier, ·??????16 states are in the medium tier, and ·??????13 states are in the low tier. ? The report highlights action steps policymakers should take to strengthen emergency preparedness in their communities. The report also includes an in-depth look at the H5N1 bird flu outbreak and the steps that public health experts say are necessary to protect against the outbreak evolving into a pandemic. ? The 12th episode of “The Pitt” tackled gun violence. APHA has declared it a public health crisis. See what Slate had to say about the episode or catch it on Max and then tell your local, state and federal representatives to act to end this needless suffering. Guns shouldn’t be the leading cause of death for American children and teenagers. We deserve better. https://lnkd.in/eBaRZaE4
