This holiday season, we’re reminded of our abundant blessings. However, we also mourn the absence of those we’ve lost. “In the last 12 months, American Interiors has lost three incredible employees—Chad Dudderar, Mike Hudecek, and Sherry Archibeque. Between the three of them, they had a combined 78 years of service at our company. At American Interiors, we consider our people to be family, and Chad, Mike, and Sherry were true evidence of that philosophy—amazing people with terrific families. To commemorate their beautiful lives and humble years of dedication to our company, the Toledo office has placed an honorary tree, rock, and bench at the entrance to our building. Chad, Mike, and Sherry helped build this company, and they will always be a part of our family. May God bless them and their families. It’s always a balanced mix of inspiration and shenanigans at the Annual MillerKnoll Dealer Leadership Conference. This year, dealers from across the country met in Frisco, Texas for a week of breakout sessions, manufacturer updates, and a special keynote speech from former Dallas Cowboys player, Darren Woodsen. We were also fortunate enough to hear from a handful of our brilliant industry friends—President of The Americas, John Michael; Vice President of Global Research and Planning, Ryan Anderson; and Senior Vice President of Global Product, Malisa Bryant. In the evenings, happy hours led to enriched conversation among fierce games of Jenga and putt-putt. Sip, shop, and success! Detroit's first ever showroom marketplace exceeded expectations last week. Over 20 local vendors and small businesses set up shop in our Novi-based showroom for an evening of creativity, collaboration, and craft. Among items available for purchase were textile teddy bears, hot sauces and spices, vegan leather jewelry, felt pumpkins, handmade quilts, goat milk soap, hand poured candles, chocolate bars, and soooo much more. Our 4th year celebrating Veterans Day in Lake Nona, Florida was nothing short of philanthropic magic. The Annual Folds of Honor Cup hosted at Lake Nona Golf & Country Club by Ken Griffey Jr. and Annika Sorenstam raises educational scholarship funds for the families of fallen or wounded military personnel and first responders. It’s a calling that is near and dear to all of us at American Interiors. This year, we kicked off the two-day event with a heartfelt program, lively auction, and private concert by country music superstar and avid Folds of Honor supporter, Lee Brice. Throughout the evening, we heard from Folds of Honor - American Interiors Chapter President, Steve Essig; and Folds of Honor Scholarship Recipient, Nathan English; among others. After a night of dancing under the stars, we woke up the next morning fully prepared to honor our veterans. Celebrities including Vince Carter, Nick Dunlap, Joey Fatone, Courtney Lee, and Jim McMahon (to name a few) paired with donors and veterans to take on the humid course for a full day of golf. With each passing year, our mission grows stronger and stronger. We will continue to support the loved ones of those that have been wounded or given the ultimate sacrifice whilst protecting our country’s freedoms. We are ever humbled with the amount of support we continue to receive from our partners, friends, loved ones, and communities as a whole.
