Continuing the journey through Global Healing Traditions in Italy, participants explored the town of Galatina, where the ancient healing dance, the 'pizzica' or 'taranta,' was once performed. Historical records show that this dance was used for healing as recently as 1960. Musicians played without amplifiers, offering participants an authentic experience of how the music would have accompanied these healing rituals.

AHNA's 2024 Elections will take place in November. The following offices will be available for self-nomination of qualified individuals for the Board of Directors and Nominating Committee of AHNA: President-Elect, Treasurer, two Board of Director Members-at-large and two Nominating Committee Members. They discovered that when branches die, farmers prune them, allowing new growth and continued olive production. They also had the opportunity to taste olive oil from these historic trees and even helped harvest grapes.
