Established in 1996, the American Helicopter Museum and Education Center is a nonprofit organization that collects, restores and displays rotary-wing aircraft. As the nation’s premier helicopter museum we are dedicated to educating and inspiring all generations using the science and technology of vertical flight. The Museum displays over 35 civilian and military helicopters, autogiros and convertaplanes. Visitors can climb aboard several of the helicopters for a truly unique hands-on experience. The American Helicopter Museum is located in West Chester, Pennsylvania, where it coincides with the industry innovators in the Philadelphia region.

Join us THIS SUNDAY at the American Helicopter Museum and Education Center for science history! Students from Conestoga Senior High School will set a world record! Also, we'll be offering helicopter rides! (additional fee)
Watch history being made on 8/18 @ World Helicopter Day! On SUNDAY, AUGUST 18, 2024 the American Helicopter Museum & Education Center will host the T/E Egg Drop Team (composed of students and a teacher from Conestoga High School and Valley Forge Middle School) as they attempt to “crush the record” (but “protect the egg”) for the Guinness World Record for the “Greatest Height to Drop a Protected Egg Without Breaking” at 1:00 PM. Among the T/E Egg Drop Team members are former Guinness World Record holders (they set the previous record on June 9, 2022 with a drop from a height of nearly 44 feet). Team has revamped the egg drop device by making some engineering design changes, and looking to set a new record at over 80 ft! The American Helicopter Museum & Education Center will also offer helicopter rides (12:30 to 3:30) for an additional fee. Admission to the museum includes all exhibits and experiences, including our current special exhibits “To The Moon: Snoopy Soars with NASA” and “Rockets and Rotors.”?

On Saturday, June 22, 2024, DroneUA and Futurology participated in the educational festival FamilyFest held at the American Helicopter Museum and Educational Center in Pennsylvania, USA. This educational and entertaining event for adults and youth became a crucial step in showcasing our expertise in unmanned technologies, expanding this field in both Ukrainian and international markets, and fostering connections between the two countries. We are proud to have been part of this exciting event, where we demonstrated Ukrainian experience and presented the latest achievements in unmanned technologies. The event was a fantastic demonstration of new technologies for aviation industry workers and their families, as well as for the younger generation just beginning to choose their future paths. It was an opportunity to exchange experiences and gain knowledge from senior industry representatives. Engineers and engineering education are the foundation of the future. Robotics and the potential to introduce new professions that save work resources, make tasks more efficient, and use less human time for the same tasks represent the direction of the future. The event highlighted that everything happening around us aims at increasing efficiency: production efficiency and the efficiency of entire industry sectors. STEM has become a critical area of education for every country, and in the United States, the significant attention given to this field of study was evident. Engineering as a field of development is one of the most critical when it comes to future professions.
