Karla has found purpose in her career through “the mission, the co-workers, and the ability to grow.” What’s motivated you to stay for 20+ years with the organization? - I have been able to grow and become a better employee due to the diversity of the work I was encouraged to do and the positions I was encouraged to take by managers who encouraged me to stretch and grow. I have also enjoyed working with my fellow employees, been on great teams, and I have enjoyed the work I have been doing for the AHA. So, to sum up what has motivated me to stay at the AHA for 20+ years, a combination of the work, the mission, the co-workers, and the ability to grow as an employee with the organization.
