CPR training once every 2 years isn’t enough—research shows CPR skills fade within 10 weeks to 6 months, leaving gaps in competency. That’s where the American Heart Association’s Resuscitation Quality Improvement? (RQI?) program comes in. Instead of a 2-year certification, RQI? uses a low-dose, high-frequency model with real-time, data-driven feedback to ensure continuous skill retention and confidence—so that your healthcare staff are ready when it matters most. This shift from training to quality improvement enhances patient care, resuscitation performance, and helps improve survival outcomes. Today Quality Care International Training Center had the distinct honor of hosting Glenn Vanden Houten, American Heart Association (AHA)- Regional Director for Europe, Africa & Israel. His visit at our Nairobi offices in Upperhill marks a significant milestone in our mission to elevate emergency medical training and strengthen life-saving interventions. His insights will be instrumental in shaping how we enhance CPR, BLS, ACLS, and Stroke training in Kenya. We believe that strong partnerships drive impactful change. We discussed Quality Care's social impact in Kenya and how we can partner in supporting free emergency trainings(CMEs) and medical outreaches across the country. The visit was later followed by a visit to Equity Afia Head office and Nairobi West Branch which is one of the training site and CME partner. Together, we are creating safer communities and a healthier future. #Quality Care Kenya #Equity Afia Medical Centre #CareCall #HighQualityCPRSavesLife #BLS-AHACertification #ACLS-BLSCertication
