The Mini Merlin is a dual gas sensor carefully designed and tested to monitor Natural Gas – Methane (CH4) and Carbon Monoxide (CO) in the air. If there is a dangerous build-up of gas or unsafe levels of carbon monoxide at the sensor, this device can shut off the gas supply via a gas safety valve and/or a gas fire appliance. This detector can also be tied directly into the boilers safety circuit. This device has additional features for resetting systems, as well as audible and visual alarms – it can also be integrated with a Building Management System (BMS).     Did we say replaceable? YES! An amazing feature of our GM100 dual gas 24V detector, is that the sensors integrated into the Print Circuit Board (PCB) are easily replaceable! When the sensor has reached its end of life, it is as simple as unplugging the used cartridge from its port, and plugging the brand new module in. With this innovation, it is possible to orient the sensors in either position - top or bottom socket - as well as use any type of AGS gas sensor cartridge (more to come in the future). The module contains all the information on the gas type, alarm set points, and communicates this to the display directly upon connection to the PCB.     Designing or contracting for enclosed parking garages? Need gas detection but no Building Management System? No issue! The GM100, our dual gas 24V detector, while capable of communicating to a BMS via BACnet or Modbus, offers the flexibility to communicate directly to our control panels; for a parking garage, this is our ParkSafe. In this setup, the ParkSafe acts as the primary controller, managing communication with the fans and dampers in the ventilation system. The ParkSafe also includes a manual boost function for the fans, offering greater control over ventilation as needed. The ParkSafe can connect to up to 16 single gas detectors, which previously would be 8 dedicated to Carbon Monoxide and the other 8 for Nitrogen Dioxide. Now, with the GM100, detection coverage has doubled, allowing a single unit to monitor both gases. Thanks to this dual-sensor design, the system can now provide coverage for over 125,000 square feet!
