Today, Parul from Phoenix shares how our parental leave benefit helped her find balance as a new mom: I'm Parul, a Senior Product Manager, and I’ve been with American Express since 2018. When I became a first-time mom, I quickly realized just how valuable it was to get 20 weeks of fully-paid parental leave. I had time to bond with my baby, recover, and adjust to the new demands of parenthood. Instead of feeling rushed to return to work like many parents, I was able to be fully present for my family, knowing my job and financial security were protected. Yesterday marked the start of Hispanic Heritage Month in the US, an annual celebration that recognizes the rich histories, talents, and experiences of the Hispanic and Latinx community. ?
