The 2024 ACP Prosthodontic Webinar Series kicked off yesterday with the first webinar of the summer. Each Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. CT in June, July, and August, we will hold a webinar worth 1 hour of continuing education credits. Registration is free for members, $35 for non-members. The 2024 Annual Session of the ACP will take place Nov. 6-9, 2024 at the beautiful JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort in Marco Island, FL. The ACP group rate is $299 per night plus taxes and fees for single or double occupancy. The rate is available until Friday, Oct. 11 or until it reaches capacity. Book your room early, these rooms will go fast and are available on a first-come-first-served basis. Each year at the Annual Session, we honor those who have made significant contributions to the advancement of prosthodontics or to the ACP. We choose these awardees based on carefully crafted criteria and the nominee’s qualifications. We are currently looking for nominations for the following awards: Distinguished Service Award, Dan Gordon Lifetime Achievement Award, Dental Technician Leadership Award, ACP Education Foundation Founders Society Award, and the Private Practice Prosthodontist Award If you are a member of the ACP, you can nominate a deserving individual to receive one of these awards! The ACPEF understands and appreciates the importance of fostering the next generation of the specialty. To accomplish this, the Education Foundation offers stipends for residents to attend the ACP Annual Session. In 2023, stipends were offered to 239 residents, allowing them to experience world class education, network with leaders within the College, and form relationships with other attendees. Shah, and Maxillofacial Representative, Dr. J.R. Wilson. The Board of Directors also appointed Dr. Gary Nord to fulfill the rest of the term as the Region I (Northeast) Director position left vacant by Dr. Louis DeSantis due to his new position as Secretary.
