These colleagues were selected through a rigorous application and scoring process that selects participants that most closely align with the?requirements.   • The ACCP Grant Program invests in the next generation of clinical pharmacologists to advance the field. The purpose of the Grant Program is to foster innovative/novel human-based research in clinical pharmacology, provide a mechanism for Students & Trainees to learn about grant writing and performing research, and to learn how to effectively manage a grant. https://lnkd.in/eS8UpS_h ACCP will fund up to two awards at?$25,000 per year for up to two years?during the 2025 application cycle. The second year of funding is contingent upon adequate progress over the first year of the grant following review by the Grant Program?Working Group. Areas of Submission Applications focused on translational and clinical pharmacology research with the goal of direct applications to humans are highly encouraged. Proposals involving modeling-based, real-world, and/or quantitative analyses and related studies that provide value and direct applications to the field of clinical pharmacology will be considered but must be adequately explained in terms of a clinical pharmacology component. Preclinical work and bench research is generally discouraged; however, translational research efforts involving primary cells or tissues where human samples were accrued for other purposes could be further analyzed. Eligibility The applicant must be a full-time student in a PhD, PharmD, MD or equivalent degree program?or?a postdoctoral fellow at the time of application submission.?Both the applicant and mentor must be members at the time of application submission and throughout the grant period.?Applicants should also anticipate being at the same institution from which they are applying for the duration of the award period.

  • The?American College of Clinical Pharmacology??is seeking suggestions for nominations of current?ACCP Fellows?to fill?three positions?on the?Board of Regents?for the period 2026 - 2030. Nominees must currently be an active Fellow of the society for 2 - 5 years, including but not limited to such activities as: Participating on an ACCP committee; Attending the ACCP Annual Meeting; Serving as Faculty for an ACCP educational event or; Serving on the Editorial Board of an ACCP journal. The election for Regents will be held in May - June of 2025. Elected Regents will attend their first Board meeting as a non-voting participant in September 2025 and as a full voting participant beginning after the 2025 Annual Business Meeting through September 2030. Regents are required to travel and attend Board of Regents meetings in February, May and September of each year during the 2026 - 2030 term. From the Regent candidates nominated by the membership, the Nominating Committee will select the slate of candidates to subsequently be voted upon by the membership. ACCP is a scientific community of integrity and transparency that offers equal support and opportunities to all Members for professional growth. ACCP is also one of the few remaining societies that is truly Member-driven and Member- focused, and we look forward to your active participation in this nomination process.   • The ACCP “Excellence in Achievement” Program is pleased to recognize Dr Nilima Kshirsagar, MBBS, MD (Pharmacology), DNB (Clinical Pharmacology), PhD (Pharmacology), FNAS, FNAMS, FRCP (UK), FACCP (USA), training UK. Dr. Kshirsagar joined ACCP in September of 2006 and is currently a Fellow.?She was the 2018 recipient of the Nathaniel T. Kwit Memorial Distinguished Service Award. She attended the 2010, 2014, 2018, 2020 and 2024 ACCP Annual Meetings and has served as a Faculty Speaker. She has submitted several manuscripts to?The Journal of Clinical Pharmacology?and supported multiple applications for Fellow in the society. ? Dr. Kshirsagar’s expertise is in the rational use of medicine, clinical trials, pharmacovigilance, phytopharmaceuticals, infectious diseases, tropical diseases, regulatory science and education. Dr. Kshirsagar has received many national, international and university/college?awards, gold medals and orations such as ACCP’s Nathaniel T. Kwit Distinguished Service Award, the BC Roy Award of the Medical Council of India, the Vasvik Award for industrial research and the Mayor Mumbai Award and has delivered orations of national organizations including NASI, IPS, API, NAMS, AIIMS and MU.
