It takes a special person to care for burn patients. We are lucky in Connecticut to have an amazing team that takes care of burn patients from first to fourth degree burns. The Connecticut Burn Center at Bridgeport Hospital is the only burn center in the state. Doctors, burn surgeons, nurses, burn techs, social workers, therapists, first responders, EMT's, transport teams, nutritionists and clergy are all part of that special team. I had a conversation with burn surgeon Dr. Roselle Crombie about prevention, treatments and how invested the center is in each patient and their families.
