A HUGE thank you to CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield for their unwavering support.?It was fantastic to see so many of our riders engage with you at our Finish Festival this past Saturday, and it was wonderful to see your team riding with us.?Your partnership is essential to making this event a success year after year--we truly couldn't do it without you!?We can't wait to see what we achieve together next year.
DC Bike Ride is one of the region’s best opportunities to experience the nation’s most iconic monuments—and you don’t need to be a professional cyclist! This year’s ride was one of the best yet, with over 9,000 riders and thousands more cheering them on. Many of my fellow #DifferenceMakers took to the streets and valiantly pedaled the whole 20-mile course. Beyond the opportunity to experience the landmarks and stay active, CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield and DC Bike Ride’s eight-year partnership benefits Dreaming Out Loud’s mission to end food insecurity through the Pedal For A Purpose program. Congratulations to all the riders. We can’t wait for next year! #CareFirstProud #DCBikeRide

What a fantastic day at DC Bike Ride on Saturday! It was a great opportunity for the World Bank to “walk the talk” (or should I say, bike the talk?) and show our commitment to cycling as a healthy, clean, and fun transportation solution. Thank you to the World Bank Staff Association for generously sponsoring our team, and a big thank you to DC Bike Ride for organizing such an inspiring event. Special thanks as well to Leszek Sibilski—former Polish cycling champion and founder of UN World Bicycle Day—for his ongoing support and advocacy. Events like these remind us that there’s still much to do to make cycling and other forms of active mobility accessible and safe for all. Let’s continue to champion cycling as a great mobility solution for people and the planet. #ActiveMobility #SustainableTransport #HealthyLiving #DCBikeRide
