The 24th Annual Lead Off Dinner was a success! For some, they were attending for the first time. For others, it was their 24th. All gathered for a night of celebration and inspiration. We appreciate each of you. Congratulations to one of our former students, Alan Cortes, for being awarded a scholarship on behalf of the ABF. He is a senior at Jefferson County International Baccalaureate. After graduating, he will be attending Auburn University to major in mechanical engineering and minor in German. Alan was a student in our program for 6 years and a volunteer for 2. We have no doubt he will go on to do great things. Thank you to Goose Gossage and James Spann for an entertaining evening full of great stories and lessons to be learned. 2025 will be a great year for us, stay tuned… ??: tcainimagery

The highly anticipated “prize day” to wrap up the semester! Students win prizes through a ticket raffle. They earn tickets throughout the semester for good character, teamwork, and winning various games. Always a great day!

Let’s talk results! BASIC students take a pre test at the very beginning of camp and a post test at the end. The pre test is crucial as it allows us to see where the students are academically when they come in to camp. The post test allows us to measure the academic growth they achieved at the end of camp. Our two BASIC programs combined for an average of: - 7 months growth in Math - 6 months growth in Reading These results are fantastic! We are so proud of our students and all their hard work.
