Last Friday, several of our dedicated team members cleaned up a stretch of roadway as part of PennDOT's Adopt-A-Highway program. American Bank has adopted a 2-mile stretch of Route 222, named Fred Jaindl Memorial Highway in honor of our Founding Chairman. Great job to our crew who put their time in to ensure this road looks its best!

We were very excited to learn more about the great things going on at Allentown Art Museum during a recent visit. Our EITC donation is supporting their Discover Art programming that encourages academic excellence by emphasizing important skills such as creativity and critical thinking as well as making connections to math, science, history, and language arts. The program introduces students to the roles museums play in expressing and preserving cultural heritage and the importance of visual literacy and visual thinking. Each session includes a teaching segment followed by a hands-on art making project. What an excellent way to connect art and academics, giving students more access to art and all that the Allentown Art Museum offers!

It's always fun when we get to visit the schools we support through EITC and this one certainly didn't disappoint! Circle of Seasons Charter School in Fogelsville (@cos_charter_school) is a one-of-a-kind public school that focuses on educating the whole child, guided by the Core Principles of Public Waldorf Education. On the recent visit by our team members, they were able to see that in action and how our EITC dollars have allowed them to purchase supplies needed for the different specialty classes such as woodworking, arts and musical instruments. Casa Guadalupe Center is a wonderful organization in Allentown which serves all members of their community! They provide WIC services, Social Services, Youth Programs and Senior Services, all at no charge to the residents. Through EITC, we support the Youth Programs including a summer camp and STEAM activities and are pleased to be able to help so many within our community!
