Our “Careers in Geoscience” event at Keele University in London AAPG YPS attempt to build a bridge between the industry and academia/students! This event showcased the varying career paths available to students to inspire the next generation of geoscientists. Through a diverse range of events, we strive to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and connections needed to thrive in the ever-evolving geoscience landscape. Our inclusive platform welcomes students from all backgrounds who have an interest in the global energy and environmental sector, providing a supportive environment for learning, career development, and mentorship. Recognizing the challenges facing our industry, such as the growing need for skilled geoscientists and common misconceptions about the field, we are committed to promoting the value and opportunities within geosciences.
