The nation’s largest coalition of farm, ranch and agribusiness women.

关于我们

"We are a force for truth, a reasoned, non-partisan voice for the agricultural community to the public." American Agri-Women is the nation’s largest coalition of farm, ranch and agribusiness women with more than 50 state, commodity and agribusiness affiliate organizations, united to communicate with one another and with other consumers to promote agriculture. AAW members have been advocating for agriculture since 1974. AAW's objectives are: 1. To educate our members to the important issues involving the agricultural industry. 2. To use this knowledge to provide the industry with a strong public relations outlet. 3. To influence policy and legislation that is of concern to the agricultural industry. 4. To serve as a communications link-up for farm and ranch women and organizations interested in the well being of the agricultural industry. 5. To promote educational programs to advance the interests and welfare of agriculture.

  • AAW Policy Bites: Where we share our policies in bite-sized portions—clear and simple. Water Rights & Resource Management Water is one of agriculture’s most valuable resources. AAW supports policies that protect farmers' access to water while ensuring responsible conservation practices that sustain future agricultural productivity. Our Position: AAW believes agriculture should always be considered the highest and best use when determining water allocation. We oppose federal overreach that limits farmers’ ability to manage their own water resources. Why It Matters: A secure water supply is critical to food production and rural economies. Restrictive regulations that fail to account for agricultural needs threaten the viability of farms and ranches across the country. • AAW Policy Bites: Where we share our policies in bite-sized portions—clear and simple. Rural Infrastructure & Broadband: Reliable infrastructure is the backbone of rural communities. From modernizing roads and bridges to ensuring high-speed internet access, AAW believes that investing in rural infrastructure is critical to keeping farms and agribusinesses competitive. Our Position: AAW supports targeted federal resources to expand broadband access in rural areas and modernize transportation infrastructure, including roads, rail, and waterways that are vital to agriculture. Why It Matters: Without high-speed internet, rural businesses struggle to access markets, implement precision agriculture, and connect with suppliers and consumers. Likewise, outdated transportation systems increase costs and slow down the delivery of goods. Policy Reference: 2024 AAW Policy Positions, pages 9-10. https://buff.ly/3g3sIh8 How has infrastructure impacted your operation? Let’s discuss! ?? Looking for Your People? Join Us at Mid-Year!
