关于我们
America Is All In (All In) is the most expansive coalition of leaders ever assembled in support of climate action in the United States. Mobilizing thousands of U.S. cities, states, tribal nations, businesses, schools, and faith, health, and cultural institutions, the coalition is working alongside the federal government to develop a national climate strategy that meets the urgency of the climate crisis; scaling climate action around the country to empower workers and communities; and promoting the leadership of non-federal actors on the world stage. Led by UN Special Envoy Mike Bloomberg, Washington Governor Jay Inslee, Charlotte Mayor Vi Lyles, Apple Vice President of Environment, Policy and Social Initiatives Lisa Jackson, and former White House National Climate Advisor and 13th U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Gina McCarthy, and climate champions across the country, the coalition is working to cut U.S. emissions in half by 2030 and reach net zero emissions by 2050, while guarding against the impacts of climate disruption. Coupled with whole-of-government action on climate, All In champions a whole-of-society mobilization to deliver the transformational change that science demands, with the goal of a healthy, prosperous, equitable, and sustainable future. To stay apprised on the coalition's work to advance climate action and accelerate the clean energy transition, visit our website (americaisallin.com) and follow us on LinkedIn (@America Is All In), Instagram (@americaisallin), and X (@americaisallin).

With #CleanEnergy jobs expanding at twice the rate of overall U.S. employment last year, it’s important now more than ever to have workforce development programs in place that can train workers to fill those jobs. Philadelphia’s Energy Coordinating Agency (ECA) is one such place, training young adults to weatherize and retrofit homes through their Green Retrofit Immersive Training (GRIT) program. ? “We try to create jobs here that make a great living. You get a good skillset that can change your life and give you…generational wealth,” ECA’s lead instructor Jackie Robinson said when #AmericaIsAllIn visited the GRIT program's last commencement ceremony this summer. ? "We got each other through this," said Amanda R who graduated from ECA's GRIT program yesterday, and was also the elected program manager for the cohort's internship. It's not always easy to make it to graduation day! Our Green Renovation Immersive Training is tough - it's a lot of information to learn quickly and then put to use immediately in an internship with Friends Rehabilitation Program. But these 20 students picked each other up and made sure that their fellow trainees understood the material and mastered the carpentry, electrical, and energy efficiency skills. After an 18-week program, they all made it to graduation with five new construction credentials to serve them in their new careers! Thank you to Chief of Staff, Carlyn Crawley, from the office of Councilmember Quetcy Lozada for attending and inspiring our graduates, and to Philadelphia Energy Authority who helps make this program possible. If you'd like to be in our next training, you can sign-up to learn more about ECA's programs here: https://lnkd.in/eUux6K29
