We’ve released a new clinical guideline on the use of AI technology in colonoscopy. While computer-assisted detection systems (CADe) show promise in identifying more polyps, their impact on preventing colorectal cancer is still uncertain. The guideline highlights the need for further research to determine if AI can truly enhance patient outcomes.
