The Vision of Amelia’s Closet Amelia’s Closet is a faith-based 501(c)3 organization that helps reduce poverty in our communities by preparing women for sustainable employment. The idea for Amelia’s Closet began developing years ago. As formerly incarcerated women would visit Jody’s church, she often wished they had a clothing closet to assist them in making a fresh start. Since she resigned from her full-time job, God has continually confirmed that she was supposed to help fill this need. Jody researched names for “hope” and found “Amelia” means hope, and industrious, striving, and admiring – the type of women we desire to help (and happens to be her first granddaughter’s name). This God-sized dream is now her passion. We, at Amelia’s Closet, want to prepare women for meaningful, sustainable employment in order to make a difference in their families’ lives and reduce the risk of poverty in our communities. We are also the main business belonging to our social enterprises;

Project ReStyle 2.0 invites individuals or teams of up to four members to create a high-fashion ensemble from at least four clothing items, plus your own decorative materials. The outfits will be created by and submitted by April 12, and will be displayed on mannequins during the event. Attendees will cast votes for their favorite designs, and local fashion professionals will vote to determine the grand prize. ???????????????????????? ?????????????? Plans are underway for Amelia’s Closet’s third annual fundraiser,?Project ReStyle 2.0, to take place on?Tuesday, April 29, 2025,?from 6-8pm at Liberty's Station, 850 NW Broad Street in Murfreesboro.?We invite your organization to participate as a sponsor for this exciting fashion design competition event. Our attached sponsorship sheet outlines several levels of support. ? We would like to have our sponsorships secured by?December 31, 2024,?so that we may include sponsors in our full season of event promotion, which launches on January 15, 2025. But the plan doesn't work out well. You are now LIVING IN A BARN, an actual BARN with your 4 children! You pay the landowner to use his kitchen and shower. You have lost your confidence!
