Excited to announce our ???????????? ?????????? ???????? / ?????? ???????? at Amela , the wonderful Roxana Antohi ?? Two years ago, during the unofficial Mexico Tech Week, Roxana and I ended up sitting next together at a women focused brunch by pure chance. (Or was fate at play?) We bonded instantly over our shared passion: supporting women. She had heard about Amela and immediately connected with our mission. It turns out, we share more than just values—we share goals. We both believe deeply that women supporting women is an untapped force for change. Roxana isn’t just an advocate for this belief; she’s lived through its challenges. As an entrepreneur herself, she knows how lonely and exhausting building something can be. She also knows how empowering community can feel. Not long after that brunch, she officially became our Newsletter Lead for Latin America. Her voice and energy transformed our updates, making them more authentic and relatable. Many already saw her as “????????” of Amela. Now, we’re making what’s felt true for years official: Roxana is joining us as our Latam Lead & Operations Lead. Her energy is contagious, her ability for creating safe spaces is unmatched, and her track record remarkable (yes, you Cambridge grad and Forbes Promesa ??) —she’s never missed an Amela event or Morning Club. She’s been there for every high and low, proving time and again what an invaluable teammate she is, as well as bringing great insight on how to improve our company.
